HR Director – Mexico Operations (San Luis Potosí)


At Blue Box Talent, we are currently looking for an HR Director – Mexico Operations for a leading multinational manufacturing company based in San Luis Potosí. We are seeking a strong multisite HR leader with experience in OEM / automotive manufacturing environments, advanced English, and solid exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR strategy and people operations across multisite manufacturing operations in Mexico, based in San Luis Potosí.
  • Partner closely with plant leadership to drive organizational performance, workforce planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and strengthen HR processes within high-performance manufacturing environments, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, labor relations, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican labor law, corporate policies, and manufacturing industry standards.
  • Act as a strategic business partner for operations leadership in a fast-paced OEM / automotive manufacturing environment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as HR Director or senior HR leader within manufacturing operations.
  • Strong experience in OEMs or automotive manufacturing environments; HVAC industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting multisite manufacturing operations in Mexico.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading HR strategy in operational, technical, and engineering-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
